What about security when paying online?

The online purchasing site is protected by an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) which is provided by the VCS website and is an encrypted site. Your details are perfectly safe.

Extended Validation SSL Certificates, capable of up to 256-bit encryption, comply with the strongest identity authentication standard available today. A unique and highly visible green address bar will display in the latest high-security browsers if a site uses Extended Validation SSL. This bar immediately helps assure visitors that this is an authenticated web site. Additionally, a green security bar with the organization?s name and a notation that the organization is certified by thawte will appear next to the address bar. The green address bar and security bar helps customers know that they are on a legitimate Web site and that their transactions will be secured.

Authentic Sites use SSL Web Server Certificates to offer secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site.VCS has checked and verified the company registration documents, the site's registered domain name, and the authorizing contact at the company all according to the strongest identity authentication standard today.

This information is included in the SSL certificate that we issue. This enables you to check the site's validity yourself. Always check a site's certificate before entering any sensitive information.

What is an Online Account and how do I create one?

An Online account is necessary for secure purchasing online. It is unique to you and prevents other people from purchasing on your behalf. It also lets us know where to deliver your product! If you have not purchased online from www.arrowphoto.co.za before, it is ESSENTIAL that you create such a profile.

When the page asking you to create an account comes up, please choose the option of "New? Please Provide Your Billing Information" as in the example below.

Fifth-Step

You will need to complete the form with all of your details. Do not forget when entering your address that a physical address is required for a door to door delivery via our couriers Berco Express.

At the end of the form, you will be asked to provide a password. This password is one that you create for yourself, keep it safe so that you can purchase from the site again. Please take note that your username and password are case sensitive and you will have to enter them the same way on the login page as you have done when registering for purchasing.
